New Kid on the Block
First photo I've seen of this buck. Not a lot going on upstairs yet; hopefully he won't lock horns with an 8-pointer.

Click on the next picture to enlarge, and you'll see an example of just how crisp and sharp an image a $99 Moultrie trail cam can take when conditions are right.

Easy to Count the Points on this Buck
This guy was nice enough to walk near the camera and turn his head just right for showing off his head gear.

Doe and Owl!
Night vision on the Stealth Camera delivers. This is one of the best videos my cameras have caught in a LONG time! I can't tell if it's a Barred Owl or a Great Horned Owl...anyone?

Bird Count 2009-10
With 'Trail Camera Catch of the Day' now early into a new season, I've decided to start a running tally of the number of different kinds of birds my cameras catch between now and next June. (Please note: I am not an experienced bird watcher/identifier, so if you ever see a mistaken ID, please let me know!)
The first two entries of the year: 001 a crow and 002 a blue jay.

Odds and Ends
Still only one camera in the woods right now, so slim pickings. First up, a tail with 4 legs, followed by my cat Luggage, then a doe, and finally, a buck.
