The Ends of the Path of Least Resistance
With these photos, the walk of the path is over. The first pics show the original starting point where I began during the 2nd Winter I was retired, mainly just to give me something to do during cold weather. (Note: the days/times are finally correct on both cameras!)
Four Winter-only work seasons later, I finished the path, linking it to what we call the lower loop path. Nothing much to show you from this end of the path today. The lower loop has been here for years, so before I move the cams to the creek, I'll use them to walk the loop and show you some of the spots I've been dropping feed for years.

Upper End, Section #21 and Lower End, Section #17
The two cameras are pointing toward the same spot today - the peak of the steepest hill. Turkey and deer were at the upper camera, while one lone squirrel showed up on the hill itself. I moved both cameras today, and they are now (finally) pointing at each other (I think).
First, though, a couple of pics from my digital camera. Here's a look at the hill from about 1/3 the way up, and a shot of the view from the side of the path at the top of that hill.
From the upper camera:
Just one shot from the lower camera and it's not a very good one, but you can see the final climb of the hill. If you look closely, you'll also see a squirrel.
And finally, it was a long walk for my sidekick today, so when we got to Luggage Beach, she decided to take a break ;)

From the upper camera:
| Notice the beard under the far turkey's neck |
| First time we've seen this young buck |

Upper End, Section #11
The rabbits are wearing out the batteries on the upper camera. Again ,there were over 100 photos of them, mostly of a single rabbit doing nothing. No appearance of the mystery animal, though those of you who follow my blog via Facebook know that I've declared it was a mink.
Today's entry begins with a nice crisp look at a deer.
Next, the only rabbit photos to make the cut. One, because it was the only one that includes 2 rabbits, and the other because it catches a rabbit stretching its legs.
Finally, so that you can see this section of the path in the daytime, photos of 2 very differently-colored squirrels.
