...but this small flock cleaned up the corn at one of my feeding spots and made it over to the second spot in just over a half hour. The first picture was snapped about 20 minutes after I did my rounds, so they must have been lurking in the area.

I've heard the same thing but that's far from the truth. They, like all animals have the brains to survive. They learn to adapt to thier enviroment, find food and shelter. All this is possible because they are smart. I'd like to see a lot of people I know try to survive out in the wild! They wouldn't make it I'd bet.
