That Hole in the Ground
Here's the mineral lick hole I mentioned cleaning out last week.
The hanging feeder is only about 10' from that hole, so I suspect the squirrel was going after some corn that may have landed in the lick
I didn't dig one inch of that hole. The mineral block was originally sitting on top of the ground. The deer have eaten all that dirt/clay to make the hole.
Now that's a beautiful buck! Perfect rack and slick coat. Most of the pics show very healthy deer. They must be getting plenty to eat.

That's a deep hole there Steve. I've never seen squirrels visit salt/mineral licks before. I guess they need extra nourishment too.
