First Photos of the New Season

I was determined to have something new to share with you, so I took a bird feeding platform to a log in the woods and put out some feed. Despite the fact that it has now rained almost 24 hours straight, there were a few visitors.

First to find the feed station - a raccoon - who immediately tipped the platform and knocked off much of the corn/seed. (For those new visitors to this blog, you can click on any photo to see a much larger image.)

The next to stop by was a rabbit. I'm surprised to see that it actually got up on the log to get to the platform.

Morning breaks, the rain continues, and a cardinal and chipmunk stop by for breakfast.
