Took a camera to the creek yesterday, found a scenic backdrop, and made a dumb mistake. I set the camera up too high off the ground, so whatever ate the corn I dropped wasn't caught by the camera. I have, instead, 20 shots like this one, where a lone cardinal or bluejay in the distance triggered the camera.
This morning I moved the camera to a spot where it appears the deer are coming to the creek to drink and cross. Sure hope I have something more interesting than this to share with you tomorrow.
