An Experiment

This is another downed tree with an opening in the side. The problem? There was nothing above the opening where I could attach the camera. I decided to see what would happen if I left the cam hanging in mid-air by a strap, facing downwards toward the ground. The only way I could get the cam to hang over the opening was to have it very close to the trunk. 

I didn't get a lot of good shots - in many the squirrel's tale is touching/blocking the camera, but here are a few that did work.

Any guesses on what animal's nose that is at the far right?
