CreekWalk: The Last Stop
I retrieved the cameras yesterday and it's a good thing I did as the creek is roaring today from all the rain and snow melt. One of the cameras had nothing but squirrel videos, while the other was set up to catch close-ups of birds. There were over 500 photos on the memory card - here is a sampling.

CreekWalk: The "Cave"
We call it the Cave but it's really more of a sheltered area under a rock overhang, situated about half-way up a steep hill. The first video will remind you where we are, though shooting it was an accident, as I thought I was taking a still photo.
No real surprise visitors so far. After I swapped memory cards, I left the camera in the cave, only this time I added a can of cat food. Maybe next time I'll have something more interesting to share. For now, there were rodents (mouse, chipmunk and squirrel), and there were 160+ videos of birds.

Upper Route, Section #24
I'm pretty sure that the lower route camera is missing lots of photos. (That's the one with the digital display that no longer works.) When that camera traveled up the big hill, it caught almost nothing. The upper route camera, now traveling down the same hill, caught all those birds the other day, and caught lots of other critters over the last few days.
I seem to have found a major deer crossing spot for those traveling from the grassy brush on top of the hill to the creek below. I'm sharing some of those photos, but there were many more, both of does and bucks. I'm really now sure how many different bucks you'll see here today; I do know you see rare appearances of an opossum. I don't know why the cams don't catch more of them.
