My First Coyote on Video!
I've had only one photo of a coyote so far (see archives, 11/15/08), and now have my first one caught on video. This camera was set up less than 50' from where the 11/15 photo was snapped.
Run Mrs. Hopper, the coyote is on yer trail! Hopefully he'll find a nice fat mouse or weasel to snack on. The first coyote I seen and heard in the wild was a real shock for me. I was going to my deer stand in Wayne National Forest and their yapping made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. lol To see one up close they don't seem so menacing, almost looks like a german sheppard but smaller.

As of yesterday anyway, Ms. Hopper is safe and sound - but still not putting any weight on that leg. I wonder if she ever will.
ReplyDeleteNice coyote video!
