Today I moved the suet about 6" to the left so that it won't be quite so hidden by the tree with the camera. My only concern is that with the very warm temperatures forecast for the next couple of days, the suet may melt.

Stirrings at the Suet Spot

You know Steve I've never seen pileated woodpeckers at my suet feeder.

A friend-of-a-friend in Middletown claims he gets them at his suet all the time. So far, I don't seem to be in their flight path with my cake.
